Saturdays Are Fun: DIY Subway Art
To bring a bit of vintage flair and uniqueness into your home and/or style file, check out today’s look at Subway Art and Tutorials. These nostalgic relics of days gone by from over 100 years ago, bring back sentimental feelings of the good ole’ days. I think we visual thinkers love them for the creative use of words and fonts. Plus the use of Subway Art in movies and televisions shows has subliminally entered our consciousness, such as in the TV Show Brothers and Sisters, as seen with this screenshot from Youtube:

- Brothers and Sisters (Referential screengrab from you tube show clip)
“Having appeared as unique set decorations in several motion pictures including Monster-In-Law , Spiderman III , and I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, and television shows including The Good Wife, Royal Pains, and Veronica Mars, vintage subway signs look great in a number of settings from offices, to board rooms, to restaurants, to kitchens and living rooms,” according to Subwaysigns.com.
Let’s check out all the different styles of Subway Art in decor…
