Highlights of the Week of Sept 16

Wow!  What an amazing journey.  I think this week’s theme really got people thinking… and writing.  Please note, these are only a few of the inspiring pages that you’ll find in the Art Journal Caravan Gallery, take a moment to stop by and see what tickles your fancy.

Here are my picks for this week.

First up is this soft and subtle page by Alegna.  I am very weak to the powers of silhouettes and pinks and grays hold fond memories for me, then a pair of fairy wings to seal the deal!  Beautiful quote too.

I picked this page by Bitte for 2 reasons, first because it’s beautiful, I like the very real feel of this.  The second reason I chose this page is because of the emotion it evoked for the creator.  {hugs}

This page by sparklyduck75 was so touching to me!  At first all I saw was this beautiful art doll that I felt was extremely symbolic and then I read her journaling.  Amazing page.

I saw this page in the gallery by Yvonne55 and knew I had to pick it.  The curvy road and the cityscape in the background are fabulous.  Makes me want to take a road trip.

And last, but most certainly not least, I chose this page by rarou47 for all of it’s beautiful colors, the journaling… there are so many great nuggets of wisdom here and I love that she describes how she put it all together.

Thanks for joining me for another week of highlights.  Don’t forget to check in next Sunday for more great inspiration.  Until then… I’ll see ya on the trail.
