Highlights of Week 4

Happy Superbowl Sunday!  I’m back with a whole new collection of pages to show you.  The gallery is all abuzz with the new prompts given in the Art Journal Caravan.  I think that people are really enjoying the new format and finding lots of inspiration to create.  Ready to see the highlights of the week?

I like everything about this page.  The colors, the painted look, the shadowing of the bike and especially all that wonderful journaling.

This page made me swoon!  I really like the powerful simplicity of the page AND it fits perfectly with the color prompt of the week.

Chartreuse by Karen Bowers
Very pretty page!  I feel like I’m looking at a piece of cloth with all sorts of beautiful bits sewn on!  The shadowing is perfect.

Week 3 by violetsnana
I always admire a page with lots of journaling, especially this page where the artist is working on a specific problem in her art.

This is another page that just jumped out at me.  The letter is so beautifully done, it’s so kind and heartwarming, as if the artist were writing an endearing letter to a small child, nurturing the soul.

I really enjoyed this page.  I like how the artist used the elements and I wonder if the bee on the page represents herself.  Very creative list.

Thanks for joining me for another week of highlights.  Don’t forget to check in next Sunday for more great inspiration.  Until then… I’ll see ya on the trail.
