Highlights of Week 6
I’m so excited to bring you a new collection of highlights from the Art Journal Caravan. There is so much going on in the forums and gallery, I’m simply blown away! I’m very fortunate to be a part of this journey with these amazingly talented girls and cherish the opportunity to be able to show off a few of the pages that they post. I hope you’ll take a moment to go over to the Art Journal Caravan Gallery and take a look at all the inspiration there and maybe even leave a few words of encouragement for the girls.

Release by AnnyLaurie
I love the soft shades of pink and the dancing silhouette, I think it’s a perfect representation of the artist’s word for the year.
Color – Red, Orange, Yellow by danadew
It always makes me happy to see new artists trying their hand at art journaling and I think this one is fantastic!
Enigma by mimisgirl
Isn’t this bright colorful page fun? I like all the depth and the pretty colors. I’ll bet the artist is more than an enigma to many of us…
My Brain Adrift by enelya
This page takes my breath away. There is so much depth here and I can feel the artist’s emotion coming out on the page.
Week 6 #1: Not Today by rabbit
I’m in awe of all the journaling on this page. The artist was very expressive of her emotions through her words and through the very powerful imagery she used.
From Soldier to Retirement by 2curlyheadedmonsters
I chose this page because I have a deep admiration for our troops and the families they’ve cultivated. I wanted to give a nod to this wife (and artist) and wish her family the best in their new journey.
Decision from dark to light by rarou47
I thought this page was very well done and I loved the idea of the map key at the bottom.
Thanks for joining me for another week of highlights. Don’t forget to check in next Sunday for more great inspiration. Until then… I’ll see ya on the trail.

Thank you for including my page among these wonderful pieces. I had no idea of the amazing journey I was starting when I joined AJC not just from doing my own work but from seeing, reading, feeling the work of other caravaners.
Gorgeous pages!!! So inspiring. Going to pin!
