If I know anything, I know I have strong values about honesty. Maybe too strong. This is such a great prompt! What are your thoughts? What do you think about little white lies? Is it ok to tell little white lies to a friend to spare his/her feelings? Is it ok to tell a little white lie in business dealings to make money?
Honesty Quotations To Jumpstart Your Journaling
Here are some thought-provoking quotations to help you jump-start your journaling. Read these, then set a timer for 15 minutes and just start writing about your values.

Dave Van Ron

Socrates

I set my timer for 15 minutes and just started writing, and then decided the title would be “The Truth Will Set You Free”. When I found the art doll body, I altered the title slightly. I love how the colorful paint illustrates the feeling of freedom. This is my second page recently where I have been painfully “honest” with my journaling.
Journaling:
Yes, honesty has always been one of my deepest held values. I believe in honesty, trust, and (also) justice, if the first two are broken. I could not surround myself with dishonest people. I could not live with my conscious with a dishonest lifestyle. To be honest, you have to know the difference between what is right and what is wrong. You have to have a conscious. There was a time in my life where I was in an abusive relationship, and I felt like I was in a tumble-dry cycle, I didn’t know which way was up any longer…perhaps from always being told I was wrong…not in so many words but from the constant emotional and psychological abuse. I began to question what was right and what was wrong in a sense, as I no longer felt I could trust my own instincts in that matter. I went so far as to write on a piece of paper and tape it to my wall “This is psychological abuse,” and then wondered if it was true. I’m not sure if he has a conscious. I don’t think he has any clue as to what he did to me. I found him on Facebook several years ago, as a way to tie up loose ends and even see if he was still alive, and he thought we could finally get along. Honestly? I told him I had been holding my tongue and I told him off. It had taken many years of therapy for me to get my head straightened back on right, for me to trust my sense of right and wrong and not own what other people tried to sell me. He wasn’t getting back into my head again. Journaled March 2012.

Love your page Julie Ann!! Fantastic, as always.
Those are both beautiful and yes, honest, pages! I’m with you both–I can tolerate almost anything but a lie. I love the texture and imagery on Carolyn’s page and the wonderful color and art doll on yours, and the journaling on both is superb.

you know a few of the pictures aren’t loading properly.
I’m not sure why but I think its a linking issue.
I’ve tried it in two different browsers and both show the same
results.
