Art Journaling 102: Technique Focus – Making Backgrounds

by Julie Ann Shahin, Studio Tangie Social Media Team

It can be handy to have in your stash a bunch of pre-made backgrounds for art journaling that you’ve created in your spare time. This could be a mindless task that you do while watching T.V. or a movie. It’s a great way to delve into kits that you rarely use or make kits look all new by combining them with other kits.

I’ve created four sample backgrounds PLUS! tutorial for one of them. One I used Tangie’s Artboard (recently on Closeout Sale) for the base, two I used Tangie’s Tangibles Workshop and Add-Ons as the base, and the last one I used a kit for the base.
