Sending out Coupons Soon!!
Hey Studio Tangie fans,
For those of you who are patiently awaiting your coupon codes, I apologize I have not had a chance to send any out yet. I was in the ER over the weekend in addition to my internet choosing to be sketchy. Everything is ok, but my baby girl is just trying to figure out if she wants to arrive 6 weeks early or not. So please continue to be patient with me. I’m hoping to get you your well deserved coupons as soon as possible.
Thanks again for your understanding!!!

Hello Lovelies! It’s the monthly challenge about LOVE…
Hey Studio Tangie fans,
Today is the day I reveal the wonderful prize from Studio Tangie AND present the new blog challenge series. With the fantastic success (and busy-ness) of the Art Journal Caravan, Designer Tangie did not create a freebie kit for this month’s challenge BUT you will be able to go SHOPPING!! Sometimes, that’s even better. For the participants of 2 or more challenges, you will receive a $10 coupon to shop at Studio Tangie. Woohoo! For those of you who were only able to participate in 1 challenge, you will recieve a $2 coupon to shop at Studio Tangie. How fantastic is that. I will be emailing your coupon codes this weekend, so make sure to keep an eye out for it and thanks for playing along.
As I mentioned in the title, this month’s theme is about love. Sure, I may have been a little guided by the fact that this month is the VALENTINE month, but there are other KINDS of loves I’d like us to explore together. To start off this month’s first challenge, your prompt will be to scrap about your first love. You don’t need to scrap about the first boy you kissed. You can scrap about the first toy you fell in love with as a kid. Or the first time you met your first pet kitten. Or the first love you had for your first child. Or the first outfit you ever purchased for yourself as a young teen that you absolutely loved. You can interpret “first love” in all sorts of ways. Don’t be limited by the first love in a romantic way.
My first love is my stuffed animal Pokey. He’s a stuffed dog that stayed my companion throughout my childhood, and ahem part of my teen years, and ok I’ll admit it, part of college life. He was there to comfort me whenever my parents were angry at me for doing something wrong and I got sent to my room. He gave the best hugs during the big scary thunder storms. He let me cry on his shoulders when I broke up with my first boyfriend. He served as a great pillow when I’d watch a bunch of chick flicks by myself. He always had a smile for me after a long day at school. I’ve had Pokey since I was one years old and I can affectionately say that he’s been the greatest friend. Nowadays, the poor guy sits on a shelf to be looked at. My DS is scared of Pokey because he looks so old. But I’m hoping my DD will like him. If not, I hope both of my kids have their own best friend that they can take with them throughout the rest of their lives. Whatever it may be.
I am debating if I dare to show you a picture of Pokey. He’s survived a lot of years. We’ll see if I’m brave enough
The same rules apply. If you want to participate in this challenge, please post a link of your layout in the comment section below. Now that PMing is available through scrapbookgraphics again, I’ll be PMing your prize from here on out. You must post your layout by next Tuesday, Feb 9. I can’t wait to see what you create!!
Sincerely, Insprink

Last Challenge of January
Hey Studio Tangie Fans,
Thank you so much for your participation so far. I am so jazzed to hear that you find these challenges inspiring. We are rounding up the “Fresh Start” challenges for the month of January. We did challenges based on “fresh starts” in your home, your personal lives, and your professional lives. This week, I’d like you to focus on “fresh starts” in a relationship. Is there a relationship you feel like you haven’t been paying much attention to? Maybe you’ve lost touch with your best friend because both of your lives are so busy that your schedules can never match up. Maybe you’ve neglected your pet since your children have been born. Maybe you stopped having date nights with hubby because your kids Sally, Jill, and Bob take up so much of your time. Maybe you lost touch with your previous work mentor or professor mentor and would like to reconnect again to find out where he/she is in life. Maybe you don’t talk to mom or dad that much these days because you moved far away or “life” gets in the way. Tell me about a relationship you would like to have a “fresh start” with and show it to me in a layout or ATC.
As usual, post your layout in the comment section below. The deadline will be Feb 2. I will announce the prize during next week’s monthly challenge post. I can’t wait to see what you create!!
New Blog Challenge (3 out of 4)
Hey Studio Tangie Fans,
I apologize for this being a day late. I’ve been sick and as soon as I came home from work, I crashed. I’m sure you can relate.
We’ve been having lots of storms here in California, so the weather is not helping the cold much. Oh beauiful sun, won’t you come back??
I’ve been having fun looking at all of your “Fresh Start” layouts. I love the goals you all came up for yourself. I think we should do a “check in” challenge later on to see how everyone has progressed on their goals. Wouldn’t that be fun! We can motiviate each other to stay focused because these were all great goals for yourselves
For this week’s “Fresh Start” challenge, I’d like you to do a layout regarding a “Fresh Start” in your professional life. Do you have any “new” things you’d like to try in your professional career. For example, say you work for a private company, your “fresh start” could be to introduce a new procedure or process that YOU KNOW would make the current work flow run much smoother. If you’re a stay-at-home mom, maybe you’d like to re-organize your house, try using organic or “green” household products, or get more involved in a community or neighborhood project. If you run your own business, your “fresh start” could be introducing a new product to your business or trying out new marketing strategies that you were always afraid to try.
The rule is as follows: Post your layout in the comment section below by Wed, Jan 27 (I gave an extra day because I was late). MAKE SURE to include your email address so that I can email you a prize at the end of the month. Participation in this challenge will be added to your total at the end of the month, which will determine your special and exclusive Studio Tangie prize!!
