Samie Harding (aka Journal Girl) didn’t always know she’d become an artist. In fact, after earning a BA in film/TV production, she thought she’d be spending her time in sunny LA. But a health scare changed the trajectory of her life, and she’s been painting and art journaling ever since.

Her work has appeared in over two dozen publications & books, including Somerset Studio, Art Journaling, Cloth Paper Scissors, & more. Her stamp designs have been produced by Paperbag Studios, and has created artists papers for Stampington. She’s been an instructor for over five years, working to spread the healing magic of art journaling and creativity. A self-taught artist, Samie fosters a wild curiosity to see “what would happen if I did [insert crazy idea here]” as well as a casual and open manner when it comes to answering questions. In short, she is an art supply & mixed media geek who sometimes bounces around when she discovers a new technique.

You can visit her @ www.journalgirl.com, where she blogs her creative adventures daily, which is a little crazy, but she loves it all the same.
